What I have for you is pure and untainted. I’m not insecure or possessive because my starting point is simply to love, to be loving with no expectation that you will return it in equal measure or at all.
I love you wholeheartedly, and if you chose not to love me back it won’t stop me feeling love for you. I’ve no desire to control or own you. If you chose to walk away, I’ll have to deal with my own heart- sit with my pain. I don’t expect anyone, not even you to take my pain away.
Put simply, my love has no strings tugging at unsaid desires to possess. My love is not a convoluted mass of yarn trying to entangle you.
I love you simply in each moment. I don’t love you because you need to be loved. I don’t love you because I have to or because I need to love you. I love therefore I am.
I don’t need you to be happy, but it’s fucking breathtaking having someone as awesome as you to share it with.
I want to rewrite what you’ve been fooled to believe is love in your deep self, so that we may improve the world around us by being fully living beings capable of true love, forgiveness, self healing, growth.
